A video is making the rounds online showing the moment a car crashes into a hair salon in Jacksonville, USA, smashing through the storefront.
As seen in the footage captured by a security camera inside the store, at first, the driver of a black car is seen driving slowly and attempting to park in a space in front of the business. Suddenly, the car accelerates sharply, smashes through the front window, and crashes into the store.

The accident occurred around 5:30 p.m. last Saturday when the black BMW smashed through the front window of Zinke Hair Studio, near the St. Johns Town Center shopping mall, and crashed into the premises, traveling about nine meters before coming to a stop.
At that moment, Aubrey Simpson-Gotham and her husband, Steven Gotham, had just finished getting their hair cut and were standing at the cash register. The car crashed into them, knocking the woman to the ground and trapping her husband between the front of the vehicle and the counter. “We didn’t have time to react,” the woman said, describing how they heard a loud noise and immediately saw the car heading toward them.
Her husband began shouting at the driver to reverse, as he feared she would continue to press the gas pedal, causing more serious injuries. According to witnesses, a manager at the hair salon was also trapped by the vehicle.
Their Injuries and Medical Condition
The couple was taken by ambulance to the hospital. Amber suffered head injuries that required four stitches, and she also received medical care for the severe anxiety caused by the incident. Her husband suffered bruises to his chest and experienced pain in his ribs, neck, and knees. Both were discharged that same evening, having sustained no serious injuries.
Amber said that she and her husband are still struggling to get over the shock. In fact, while watching the security camera footage, she realized that the chair she had been sitting in just a few minutes earlier had been right in the car’s path.
“I’m so blessed to be alive,” she said.
According to the co-owner of the hair salon, the woman driving the BMW worked at a neighboring business. She reportedly claimed that there was a problem with the car, but this explanation has not been confirmed.
