The explosion that occurred yesterday, Sunday, in the Ras Laffan industrial zone, in Qatar, resulted in 54 people being injured, while 18 are missing, the emirate’s Ministry of the Interior announced.
“A total of 54 people were injured in the incident at a factory in the industrial city of Ras Laffan,” the Ministry of the Interior stated via X, adding that searches are underway to locate “18 missing persons.”

Earlier, it had been reported that the explosion was caused by a “technical malfunction.”
