Scenes of unimaginable chaos unfolded in the Georgian Parliament, which turned into a boxing ring during a session.
Specifically, lawmakers exchanged blows today during the final plenary session of the spring session.
In a video making the rounds online, lawmakers from the opposition party “For Georgia” and their opponents representing the ruling party “Georgian Dream”—both men and women—were involved in the brawl as they prepared to vote in favor of a divisive “foreign agents” (foreign agent law), which has sparked weeks of mass protests.
