All passengers on board the civilian aircraft that crashed in northeastern France were killed, according to French media citing rescue services.
The aircraft had taken off from Nancy-Éssay Airport. Authorities said a large area around the crash site in Tomblen has been cordoned off.
Police, firefighters, and emergency services have been deployed in large numbers to assist with rescue efforts and determine the cause of the accident.
The prosecutor’s office has launched an investigation.

In a post on platform X, French Transport Minister Philippe Tabaro spoke of a “particularly tragic toll.”
This is one of the deadliest accidents in general aviation in France, according to the Bureau of Investigation and Analysis for Civil Aviation Safety (BEA), France’s official agency for investigating aviation accidents and serious incidents.
The mayor of Tomblen, Hervé Ferron, told the newspaper L’Est Républicain that the aircraft crashed near a residential area, just a few dozen meters from the airport’s runway.
