A small military aircraft crashed in central Bolivia, killing six people, the Andean nation’s Ministry of Defense announced yesterday, Sunday, without specifying the causes.
The ministry stated in a press release that the Cessna-type aircraft “was involved in an accident (the day before yesterday) on Saturday, June 21, in the morning while on a mission to support civil operations along the La Paz–Cochabamba route,” in the central part of the country.
At least six people were killed, including four military personnel and two civilians, in a plane crash that occurred in a mountainous area of the Cochabamba department, in the central region of #Bolivia, the Ministry of Defense reported.

“Initial reports confirm the deaths of all six people on board: four military personnel and two civilians. There were no survivors,” according to the same source.

The wreckage of the aircraft was found in the Cerro Sayari area, about 220 kilometers east of the administrative capital, La Paz.
The aviation accident investigation committee, a public authority, is working to determine the causes of the crash and will publish its findings once its work is complete, the Ministry of Defense stated.
