Russia has asked Washington and Ankara for an explanation regarding reports of possible plans to transfer a “significant arsenal” of U.S. weapons and ammunition currently located in Turkey, according to a spokesperson for the Russian Foreign Ministry.
Such a move would cause serious damage to our bilateral relations with Washington and Ankara, Maria Zakharova said in a statement.
