Andri Hatzandreou was elected the new Deputy Mayor of Aglantzia, having secured a majority of the votes cast by the residents.

The polls closed at 6:00 p.m., and voter turnout was quite low, so the results became clear fairly quickly.

The official announcement of the results is expected shortly, including the final percentages received by the two candidates.

Running against Andri Hatzandreou was Prokopis Prokopiou, who, however, failed to secure a majority of the votes to be elected the new Deputy Mayor of Aglantzia. In fact, Andri Hatzandreou appears to have been elected the new Deputy Mayor of Aglantzia with a comfortable lead over Prokopis Prokopiou.

It should be noted that the by-election to select a new Deputy Mayor of Aglantzia were held after the former Deputy Mayor, Andreas Konstantinou, was elected to a seat in Parliament.
