Archbishop George of Cyprus said on Thursday that we must safeguard the Republic of Cyprus as the apple of our eye because it is our main pillar of support for liberation.
In remarks following the parade marking the anniversary of the Republic of Cyprus’s independence in Nicosia, the Archbishop congratulated the parade participants and all those who are helping to modernize the National Guard. He also said that we should pay tribute to those who gave us the Republic of Cyprus and who have brought us this far.
