The Special Representative of the United Nations Secretary-General and head of the UN peacekeeping force in Cyprus (UNFICYP), Hashim Dian, is expected to brief the UN Security Council at the international organization’s headquarters in New York during the second week of July on the situation in Cyprus, according to information from CNA.

The Agency has been informed that the briefing will take place behind closed doors.
