Dimitris Baros spoke about his priorities as a Member of Parliament, emphasizing transparency and education. At the same time, he expressed his party’s intention to cooperate with any party necessary for the benefit of the citizens.
Appearing as a guest on the show “Alpha Summer,” the Member of Parliament for Direct Democracy stated that he finds the world of politics very interesting.
“I can’t wait to start getting things done and see our influence in action.”
When asked whether Direct Democracy had grown closer to any particular party, Dimitris Baros noted that the party tries not to operate that way, emphasizing that it seeks to cooperate with any party for the benefit of the citizens.
“Without exception, we want to cooperate with everyone where necessary; we exclude no one.”
Mr. Baros expressed his particular sympathy for the ALMA party because both Direct Democracy and ALMA are two new parties on the political scene.
“I would be very happy to see us work together to promote transparency as much as we can.”
When asked if he expected to be elected, he replied that he felt confident about the outcome.
It should be noted that Dimitris Baros is a member of the Education Committee, the Defense Committee, the Audit Committee, and the Agriculture Committee.
He mentioned, among other things, that his personal goal is to focus on the field of education, adding that it is the foundation of society.
“If we have educated young people—smart young people with the necessary knowledge—this will lead to improvements in every area. Education is the be-all and end-all.”
When asked whether the party had submitted a bill, he replied, “I don’t think so. I’m not sure.”
