The President of the Republic, Mr. Nikos Christodoulides, received the Board of Directors of the Pan-Cyprian Medical Association (PIS) this morning at the Presidential Palace.
In welcoming the President and the members of the Board, President Christodoulides emphasized the need to strengthen and institutionalize dialogue with the PIS, “bearing in mind that health, like education, is one of the most important sectors in which we, as a state, invest,” and added that this is also reflected in the state budget.

For his part, PIS President Dr. Petros Agathangelou said, among other things, that the Association welcomes the government’s policies in the health sector, noting that there is excellent cooperation between the Association and the relevant government institutions.
