The five members of the Cyprus Police who were serving as a static guard outside the home of Justice Minister Konstantinos Fytiris in the Larnaca district.
According to information from AlphaNews.Live, the static guard post outside Mr. Fytiris’s residence was removed last Monday, following a letter from Mr. Fytiris to Police Chief Themistoklis Arnaoutis.

In the letter, Mr. Fytiris explained that the goal is to free up personnel and emphasized that the area can be monitored through regular police patrols.
At the same time, the Minister of Justice proposed linking the closed-circuit surveillance cameras installed at his residence to a police station in the Larnaca district, so that the area could be continuously monitored.
