The Greens decided on the Movement’s interim leadership during the Extraordinary Pan-Cyprian Congress held on Sunday, September 13.
The interim leadership consists of:
• Ms. Katerina Hatzistylli, First Vice President,
and • Mr. Loukas Stylianou, Second Vice President.

According to an announcement by the Movement, the appointed interim leadership will carry out its duties until the election of the new leadership at the Extraordinary Pan-Cypriot Electoral Congress on November 14.
The two Vice Presidents exercise all the powers that the Bylaws assign to the positions of President and Deputy President, respectively, as noted.
Ms. Elena Lymbouri remains the Movement’s Press Spokesperson, while Mr. Michalis Menelaou remains the Deputy Press Spokesperson.
“Article 61 of the Bylaws has already been invoked, pursuant to which all time-related requirements for exercising the right to vote and to be elected are waived. In this way, the right to participate in the electoral process to fill all vacant positions is granted, among others, to those who have appeared on the Movement’s ballots in any election. At the same time, the process of reorganizing the Movement’s Ecologist Youth (NE.OI.) has begun.”
The Ecologists’ Movement – Citizens’ Cooperation also extends its gratitude to Mr. Stavros Papadouris and Ms. Maria Kola for their contributions during their tenure in the Movement’s two top leadership positions.
