When asked by CNA about when the appointment of criminal investigators is expected to be announced to investigate the findings detailed in the Report of the Independent Authority Against Corruption and the Final Report of the Inspection Officers regarding the investigation into the book “State Mafia,” the Spokesperson stated that the goal is to issue an announcement “as soon as possible.”

It should be noted that the Council of Prosecutors decided last week to forward the two reports in their entirety, along with all accompanying documents, to the Police and the Council of Ministers, so that the prescribed procedures can be initiated to investigate any potential criminal offenses that may arise from the findings of the investigation.
There may be announcements regarding this matter on Wednesday, when the Cabinet meets, according to information received by KYPE.
