To the Foinios Community Welfare Council, and specifically for the needs of the Regional Shelter for the Elderly and Disabled, the President of the Republic, Nikos Christodoulides, donated the pension he receives from his service as Minister of Foreign Affairs.
For his gesture, he received a public “thank you” from the residents, staff, and the Board via a Facebook post, which stated that “it is a tangible expression of love and respect for our fellow human beings who are in need of support, care, and a helping hand extended with love.”
