Turkish Cypriot leader Tufan Erhürman was discharged from the hospital on Saturday morning, who had been rushed to the hospital on Friday night after feeling severely unwell.
According to earlier statements by the so-called Minister of Health, the specialized tests he underwent came back clear, and there is no cause for concern regarding his heart.
As Health Minister Hakan Dincurek stated, Erhürman experienced severe chest and back pain during an event, accompanied by sweating and low blood pressure. Due to the seriousness of the situation, it was deemed necessary to transport him immediately by ambulance to the hospital around 9 p.m. on Friday.
Dincurek also reported that a contrast-enhanced CT scan was initially performed, which revealed absolutely no abnormalities.
Subsequently, primarily as a precautionary measure, Mr. Erhurman underwent an angiogram to examine his coronary arteries. The results were completely normal, ruling out any cardiac risk.
