The President of the Republic, Nikos Christodoulides, extended his warm congratulations to the graduating seniors on the occasion of the announcement of the results of the Pan-Cyprian Examinations.
The President’s Message
“With today’s announcement of the results of the Pan-Cyprian Examinations, I would like to address each and every one of you from the bottom of my heart—those of you who undertook this great and demanding challenge.
To our young people who today saw their efforts rewarded and secured a place at our country’s top educational institutions, I offer my warmest and most sincere congratulations. This success is the culmination of your hard work, dedication, and the sacrifices you’ve made throughout this time.
Today marks the beginning of a new, exciting chapter of learning, experiences, and personal growth for you. Be proud of what you have achieved.
At the same time, I want to send a special, personal message to the students who are feeling disappointed today because the results weren’t what they had hoped for. I urge you not to lose heart. A single exam does not determine your worth or your future. Life is full of alternative paths, second chances, and other opportunities, and success is ultimately measured by your persistence and determination to pursue your dreams, no matter how many difficulties you encounter. As a nation, we stand by you and believe in you.
Today rightfully belongs to the unsung heroes of this endeavor. To the parents and teachers. To the people who stood as unwavering allies, shared in the stress, and supported the children who took the exams with their love and guidance.
As a government, we have a duty to continue investing in public education every day, ensuring a modern, high-quality, and inclusive education for all our children.
Our young people are the strength and the future of our country.
We rely on their energy, their fresh ideas, and their perspective to build the future of our Cyprus.”
