"Everything is moving toward the implementation of the GSI," President of the Republic Nikos Christodoulides reiterated on Thursday evening when asked about yesterday’s meeting between Greek Prime Minister KMitsotakis with French President Emmanuel Macron on the matter.
The President, who was on his way to an event in Athenou, said that his diplomatic office is also in contact with the French Embassy in Nicosia “and we believe, based on the information we have received from the French government as well as the conversation I had with the Greek Prime Minister, that everything—especially following the impasse— following the involvement of the French company, are moving toward the implementation of the project.”
