The Turkish Minister of National Defense, Yasar Güler, and the delegation accompanying him are in the occupied territories.

On Sunday afternoon, Güler was received by Turkish Cypriot leader Tufan Erhürman, who expressed his satisfaction with the visit following the meeting.

According to a statement from the pseudo-state, “the meeting was also attended by the Chief of the Turkish General Staff, General Selçuk Bayraktaroğlu, the Commander of the Turkish Land Forces, General Metin Tokel; the Commander of the Turkish Naval Forces, Admiral Erkument Tatlioglu; the Commander of the Turkish Air Force, General Ziya Cemal Kadioglu, the Commander of the Turkish Cypriot Peacekeeping Forces, Lieutenant General Sebahattin Kilinc, the Commander of the Security Forces, Major General Ilker Gorgul, the Deputy Minister of National Defense, Salih Aihan, and the Chief of Staff to the Minister of National Defense, Erbil Özdemir. Commemorative plaques were also exchanged, and Deputy Minister of the Presidency Mehmet Dana was in attendance.”
