The Greek Minister of National Defense, Nikos Dendias, to participate in the celebration of the 66th anniversary of the independence of the Republic of Cyprus. Mr. Dendias will attend the military parade on October 1, and during his stay on the island, he will be received by the President of the Republic, Nikos Christodoulides, and will meet with Archbishop George.
Specifically, according to an announcement by the Greek Ministry of National Defense, as part of the visit, the Greek Minister will meet with Archbishop Georgios on Wednesday.

On Thursday, October 1, Mr. Dendias will lay a wreath at the statue of Archbishop Makarios III at the Presidential Palace, together with President Christodoulides, by whom he will subsequently be received.
Afterward, the Greek Minister of National Defense will attend the parade marking the 66th anniversary of the independence of the Republic of Cyprus in Nicosia.
