Averof Neophytou is calling a press conference in the wake of his announcement that he will run in the 2028 presidential election.
Specifically, Mr. Neophytou is inviting members of the media and communications sector to a press conference he will hold tomorrow, Tuesday, September 29, 2026, at 10:15 a.m.

It should be noted that Averof Neophytou announced his candidacy on Sunday, September 27, while on Monday, following a meeting of the Democratic Alarm leadership, party President Anita Dimitriou also announced her candidacy.
