He conveyed his sincere condolences, on behalf of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Cyprus, to the Greek Minister of National Defense, Nikos Dendias, his Cypriot counterpart, Vasilis Palmas.
“It is with the deepest sorrow that I learned of the death of the two Greek Air Force officers, who lost their lives in the tragic accident that occurred during the air show at Tanagra Air Base,” he stated in a post on Platform X on Saturday afternoon.
As he noted, in a telephone conversation he had with the Greek Minister of National Defense, he expressed his sincere condolences, on behalf of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Cyprus and his sympathy to the families of the two pilots.
