Fidias Panagiotou, Member of the European Parliament and leader of the Direct Democracy party, is looking for a police officer to join his personal security detail.

In a new video he posted on social media, he is calling on police officers interested in accompanying him and being responsible for his security to submit an application.

As he notes, due to his status as the leader of a political party, he is entitled to a police escort and is seeking someone with many years of experience and the appropriate qualifications.

“If you’re interested in being one of the police officers who will protect me and you have the qualifications, then I’d be happy for you to apply,” he says in his video.
