Cypriot and Greek military contingents marched through the streets of Paris for France’s National Day, in the presence of heads of state and government, including the President of the Republic, Nicos Christodoulides, and Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis.
This year, officers from the National Guard are participating in the French Armed Forces parade on the Champs-Élysées. An invitation that, beyond its high symbolic value, reflects, among other things, the importance of strategic cooperation between Cyprus and France, with relations between the two countries at the highest possible level, as stated by President of the Republic Nikos Christodoulides.
A guard of honor from the Greek armed forces also participated.
