The Ecologists’ Movement will convene an Extraordinary Pan-Cypriot Electoral Congress in November, following the decision taken on Sunday at the Extraordinary Congress and Meeting of the Central Committee of the Ecologists’ Movement – Citizens’ Cooperation.
Specifically, it was decided to hold an Extraordinary Pan-Cypriot Electoral Convention on Saturday, November 14, 2026. The election process concerns the positions of President, Vice President, and Second Vice President. In addition, certain positions on the Central and Political Committees and the District Committees will be filled.

During the meeting, it was also decided to invoke Article 61, pursuant to which all requirements regarding prior service in the Movement for participation in the Movement’s elections are temporarily and conditionally waived. This “relaxation” applies to already registered members and supporters of the Movement, members of Affiliated Organizations, and individuals who have participated as collaborators in elections (parliamentary, European, and municipal elections).
The Movement invites interested individuals—members and friends of the Movement— to contact the Movement to complete their registration, in order to be eligible to participate in the election process on November 14.
