The meeting between the President of the Republic and the Turkish Cypriot leader, which was scheduled for this week, has been postponed.
According to information reported by journalist Iakovos Iakovou on the Alpha News program, the Turkish Cypriot side has requested that the meeting—which was scheduled to take place this week—be postponed until next week, following the tragedy off the coast of Kyrenia that claimed at least eight lives.
It should be noted that during the meeting between the two leaders last week, it was decided that Nikos Christodoulides and Tufan Erhurman would meet every week.
