New details are emerging about the death of the 36-year-old actress from “Heroes” and “Nashville,” though the official cause of death remains unknown.

The Greenville County Medical Examiner's Office released new details about Hayden Panettiere's final moments, just a few hours after the news of her death at the age of 36.

The actress, who became known worldwide for her roles in the series “Heroes” and “Nashville,” was found unconscious and in cardiac arrest at a residence in Greenville, South Carolina, where she was temporarily staying. Emergency services responded to a 911 call at noon on Sunday, August 16.
