The family of Giorgos Mazonakis is going through a difficult time following the sudden death of the beloved singer at the age of just 54.

Shortly before 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 9, his sister, Maria Mazonaki, arrived at ELPIS Hospital, where he had been pronounced dead.

She appeared visibly devastated by the loss of her brother. Upon her arrival at the hospital, Maria Mazonaki held her head in her hands, a scene that captured the shock of those first moments after the tragic news.
