Limassol bids farewell today to one of its most iconic figures. Relatives, friends, and people who knew Dimos Mavropoulos gathered at the Church of Saint Kosmas of Aetolia to say their final goodbyes, just a few days after his tragic death at the age of 76.

The businessman and former rally champion lost his life on Saturday, August 29, in the tragic accident that occurred off the coast of Cape Greco, amid severe weather conditions.
