Unstoppable Aris breezed past Mykonos, comfortably and easily defeating the local team 88-72 in the 4th round of the Stoiximan GBL.

With this victory, the “Yellows” have now recorded their sixth consecutive win across all competitions, reaffirming their red-hot form. On the other hand, Mykonos suffered its third loss of the season.

Lindel put on a stellar performance, with the American scoring 26 points and leading the team on the court, with Robinson providing solid support, recording 15 points, three rebounds, and three assists. For the home team, Love was outstanding with 19 points, seven rebounds, and one assist; however, his effort wasn’t enough to prevent Mykonos from suffering a loss.

Aris showed its aggressive side very early on, with Vasilis Spanoulis’s team taking the lead and never relinquishing it at any point in the game. The lead in the first quarter reached as high as +9 (15-24), with the period ending at 28-21.

Aris kept the pressure on in the second quarter, with the lead soaring to +17 (32–49), confirming the Thessaloniki team’s exceptional form. The two teams headed to the locker rooms at the end of the first half, with the scoreboard reading 49-36.

When play resumed, Mykonos fought hard to get back into the game and managed to cut the deficit to single digits, narrowing the gap to as little as -5 (56–61), with the quarter ending at 64–56.

In the fourth and final quarter, Aris refused to give their opponents any more chances and, with composure and focus, sealed the victory once and for all, celebrating yet another win with a score of 88-72. The Thessaloniki team maintained control until the end, confirming their superiority and securing the victory in convincing fashion.
