The first phase of the 2026–2027 ECOMMBX Basket League season kicked off with a victory for ETHA.
Following the game held at the “T. Papadopoulos-Eleftheria” arena, the Yellow-and-Blacks defeated ACR4U Digenis 76-65.

At halftime, the visitors led 31–28, but especially from the 25th minute onward, ETHA played better and secured the victory.
Seales led the winning team with 31 points and 25 efficiency points.
The first part of the game unfolded at a fast pace, with Digenis holding a slight lead early on.
However, starting at the 5-minute mark, ETHA played better and took a 17-10 lead shortly after the 6-minute mark.
Digenis fought back with a 7-0 run to tie the score at 17-17, before ETHA regained the lead at 19-17 at the 10-minute mark.
The home team got off to a better start in the second quarter, although the pace was slower than in the first.
Thanks to the scoring of Seales and Saintilus, ETHA led 26-19 shortly after the 15-minute mark.
Digenis cut the deficit to one point (26–25) and, by halftime, led 31–28.
Early in the third quarter, Digenis led 36-28, and shortly thereafter, for the first time, the lead reached +10 as Digenis took a 40-30 lead.
Thanks to 8 consecutive points by Seales, ETHA cut the deficit to 44-42, and shortly after, narrowed the gap to just one point (46-45)!
As the third quarter came to a close, ETHA took the lead, 50-48.
Early in the fourth quarter, the home team led 54-49 and, shortly after, 59-51.
The home team’s lead even reached +11 (64-53) as Seales consistently came up with plays for his team, and despite Digenis’s efforts to mount a comeback, ETHA ultimately secured the victory 76-65
