The announcement: “AEL FC LTD, as part of its commitment to providing responsible and comprehensive information to fans, announces that it has sent an official request to the Cyprus Football Association (CFA) Arbitration Committee for the immediate disclosure of the findings regarding AEL’s complaints concerning third-party interference in the VAR process during theAPOEL–AEL match on September 6, 2026.

As a party directly involved in the case, we consider it self-evident and imperative that we have full knowledge of the findings, conclusions, and decisions of the Disciplinary Committee, as well as the evidence included in the relevant report.
At the same time, AEL was informed by the Cyprus Football Association (CFA) that the appeal against the decision of the CFA Judicial Committee regarding the sanction imposed on our player Carlos Miguel Ribeiro Dias (Cafu) will be heard on October 5, 2026, at 4:00 p.m.
AEL will keep its fans informed of any further actions, developments, and decisions regarding these matters, in accordance with the established procedures.”
