In Argentina, there has been talk for some time now of River Plate’s keen interest in adding Francisco Ortega to its roster, with reports coming one after another!
According to new information coming out of Argentina, the 26-year-old left back has given River the green light to move forward with his acquisition, but the Buenos Aires club has not yet managed to meet Olympiacos’ financial demands.
As reported in the article, the Piraeus club is asking for 7 million euros to allow him to leave, an amount that is quite far from River Plate’s offers so far.
However, the Argentine reporter’s post concludes with the note that negotiations between the two teams are ongoing.
