New developments are unfolding in the league!
According to statements made by the APOEL spokesperson on the radio, the rule requiring the sale of 800 tickets whenever six specific visiting teams played has been rescinded.
As Nektarios Petevinos explained, the Cyprus Football Association (CFA) and the Ministry of Justice held discussions on the matter, and the outcome was communicated to the teams.
Here is a key excerpt from his remarks:
“Last year, there was a provision stating that for the six teams, the visiting team would receive 800 tickets. That provision has been removed.
This was brought up at our meeting, and a discussion took place between the Cyprus Football Association (CFA) and the Ministry regarding this matter. It has been agreed that AEL will be allocated the number of tickets it needs, but not to exceed 1,000 tickets, just as we have.”
