Chelsea underwent a change in ownership early Thursday morning. Clearlake Capital Group purchased the shares held by Todd Boehly and Mark Walter, gaining full control of the “Blues.”
Four years ago, Boehly and Clearlake joined forces to acquire Chelsea, with Clearlake executives Behdad Ekbali and José Feliciano, now holding the majority stake.
