Manchester City is set to complete yet another high-profile transfer, with the “Citizens” preparing to bring Ayoub Bouadi into the blue.
The Moroccan midfielder from Lille is one of the hottest talents on the planet, with the 18-year-old turning heads both in the French league and at the 2026 World Cup, which concluded a few weeks ago.
With Rodri’s departure, the “Citizens” were in desperate need of a major reinforcement in their midfield, with Enzo Maresca setting his sights on Bouadi. After countless rounds of negotiations, City finally managed to sign him, paying a fee of nearly 100 million euros.
Last season, Bouadi made a total of 42 appearances across all competitions for Lille, contributing one assist. His upcoming move to England marks the next big step in the young midfielder’s career, which has already attracted a lot of attention.
