Nea Salamina announced the start of its collaboration with Vasilis Lampropoulos for 1+1 years. He is a Greek center back.
The announcement: “The Board of Directors of NEA SALAMINA AMMOCHOSTOS, in collaboration with the Planning Committee, announces the signing of a contract with Greek center back Vasilis Lampropoulos.
Vasileios Lampropoulos is a player of recognized caliber, with extensive experience and notable performances in Greek and European soccer. Throughout his long career, he has played for, among others, AEK Athens, Deportivo La Coruña, VfL Bochum, and, for the past three years, OFI.
At OFI, he was a key figure and a leader for the team, wearing the captain’s armband and playing a decisive role in the team’s performance, with the highlight being the team’s victory in the 2025–2026 Greek Cup.
His performances in the Super League (179 appearances), Bundesliga 1 & 2 (47 appearances), and La Liga 2 (17 appearances), as well as the trophies he has won (1 Greek league title and 3 Greek Cups, as well as a German Second Division title) are indicative of his experience, quality, and soccer career.
The contract is for one (1) year, with the option to renew.
We welcome Vasileios to the NEA SALAMINA family and wish him good health and every success in the red-and-white jersey.”
