After completing his tenure with the U-21 national team, Konstantinos Makridis is taking over as head coach of the Paralimni Youth Union. The Cypriot coach is tasked with leading the team on a new path, with the primary goal of returning ENP to the first division.
The announcement reads as follows: “Konstantinos Makridis is the new head coach of Enosis Neon Paralimni.
Enosis Neon Paralimni announces the start of its collaboration with Konstantinos Makridis, who is taking over as head coach of our team.
Konstantinos Makridis is one of the most prominent figures in Cypriot soccer. As a player, he enjoyed a distinguished career in Cyprus and abroad, playing for Apollon Limassol, Omonia, APOEL, and Metalurh Donetsk, and represented the Cyprus national team in 78 matches, having also served as its captain.
As a coach, he worked at Apollon Limassol, and until recently served as head coach of the Cyprus U-21 national team for three consecutive years, gaining valuable experience at both the club and international levels.
The coaching staff includes assistant coach Stelios Okkaridis, associate coach Giannis Batzios, and fitness coach Dimitris Thomas.
