Emilio Ensué announced the end of a distinguished career.
The star from Equatorial Guinea became well-known to Cypriot fans thanks to his successful stints with APOEL and Apollon.
With his national team, he scored 26 goals in fifty appearances, and in 2024 he was named the top scorer of the Africa Cup of Nations with five goals.
His post: “The time has come to say goodbye
For more than two decades, I’ve been living the dream that a 9-year-old boy once had.
Thank you to everyone who was part of this journey. To those who were here from the beginning, those who joined later, and everyone who made this journey unforgettable.
Today I’m closing a chapter, but not a story.
Thank you for everything.”
