Manchester City has bolstered its midfield, announcing the signing of Alan Elias, who has signed a five-year contract.
The English club shelled out 40 million euros to sign the 22-year-old from the Brazilian team, for which he made 96 appearances, scoring nine goals and providing 12 assists.
“Alan is a truly exciting player, and we believe he will be a significant addition to the team. Throughout his short career so far, he has shown that he will strive to be the best he can be,” said City’s director of soccer, Hugo Viana.
