There is a sense of relief regarding Dimitris Priniotakis’s condition following the head injury he sustained in the final minute of the friendly match between Karmiotissa and Anorthosis.

According to an official statement from the Polemidia-based team, the 27-year-old goalkeeper was taken to Larnaca General Hospital, where the necessary tests revealed that he had suffered a concussion, and required stitches on his eyebrow and forehead.

Priniotakis remained in the hospital overnight as a precaution for observation, and his condition is good.

Karmiotissa also highlighted the significant and immediate response of those who handled the incident, expressing her gratitude to the medical staff, the ambulance crew, and the staff at Larnaca Hospital for the care they provided to the soccer player.

“The news regarding Dimitris Priniotakis’s condition is positive, following the head injury he sustained in the final minute of the friendly match against Anorthosis.

Our team’s goalkeeper was transported to Larnaca General Hospital, where he underwent the necessary medical examinations. It was determined that he had suffered a concussion, and he required stitches on his eyebrow and forehead. He remained in the hospital overnight as a precaution for observation, and his condition is good.
