Following the departure of Nikos Papadopoulos, who is continuing his career with APOEL, the Boeotian team has reached an agreement with Ilias Charalambous.
The former captain of Omonia spent three years in Romania coaching Steaua Bucharest, winning two league titles (2024, 2025) and the same number of Super Cups, while he was named Romania’s top coach during that same period (2024, 2025).
He was fired by the Romanian team in March, having compiled a record of 88 wins, 41 draws, and 41 losses in 170 matches.
