Anorthosis is currently in talks regarding a new head coach.

Negotiations with Zeljko Kopic and Karel Gerets have entered the final stages, but all signs point to the former having the edge over the latter.

In fact, reports indicate that the Croatian former Paphos coach is the preferred choice of the club’s management, but until the contracts are signed, the matter remains open.

The 48-year-old managed the Paphos team in 36 matches during the 2018–2019 season, and if he agrees to the deal, he will return to our island after seven years, this time to coach the Famagusta team.

His most recent stop was Dinamo Bucharest, where he spent about three years and coached the team in 113 matches.
