“Panserraikos FC announces the start of its partnership with soccer player Jorge Fernando Barbosa Intima… aka Jorginho, who has signed a contract with our team and will wear the jersey with the lion on the chest as we aim to return to the Super League.
Jorginho was born on September 21, 1995, in Guinea-Bissau, but holds Portuguese citizenship. He plays as a winger and, since January 2025, has played for Omonia Aradippou, making 44 appearances and scoring 8 goals.
He learned to play soccer in the Manchester City youth academy, where he arrived at a young age, and subsequently played for Arouca, Saint-Étienne, Chaves, CSKA Sofia, Ludogorets, Wadi Degla, Ordabasy, and Torpedo Kutaisi, racking up a total of 224 appearances, 32 goals, and 9 assists at the professional level.
