To tell the truth, APOEL had a tough schedule during the first six matchdays of the Cyprus League by Stoiximan, since, with the exception of the match against Nea Salamina, the other five matches were derbies.
The Nicosia-based team, currently in 7th place, has two wins, two losses, and two draws, for a total of 8 points.
Now, the next two matches present an opportunity… to go two for two, as the “blue-and-yellows” face Omonia 29 May at home (10/25) for Matchday 7 and then Omonia Aradippou (11/1) for Matchday 8 at the “AEK Arena.”
In short, if APOEL wants to be a contender this season, then 6 points are… a must!
*In between, on October 28, they will host Chalkanora in the first round of the Cup.
