A twist in the… twist in the Antonín Barak case at APOEL!
The “blue-and-yellows” have re-established contact with the Czech international and are bringing him to Cyprus to finalize the deal this time around.
As a reminder, back in July, the Nicosia-based club had announced an agreement in principle with the 31-year-old, but two days later the transfer “fell through” following a mutual decision by both sides.
Ultimately, the Fiorentina attacking midfielder will be APOEL’s ninth signing, significantly strengthening the team’s “number 10” position.
Last season, Barak played on loan from the Florence-based club to Sampdoria in Serie B, making 28 appearances and scoring one goal. In the past, he has also played for Hellas Verona, Udinese, Slavia Prague, Grafín Vlasim, Příbram, Kasımpaşa, and Lecce.
It’s also worth noting that he has made 44 appearances for the Czech national team, scoring 11 goals.
