The summer transfer window officially closes in a few hours, but for APOEL, it was practically over on September 9, since the club did not sign any free agents or loan players from the Cypriot league.
The “blue-and-yellows” made 12 signings, with the total market value of the players, according to Transfermarkt, coming in at nearly 8 million euros (7,975,000 to be exact).
The top three in terms of value are three players who came from the Greek league: Tasos Bakasetas, who ranks first at 1.5 million euros, followed by Dimitris Limnios with 1 million euros, and third is Joan Sastre with 800,000 euros. The top two players “moved” from Panathinaikos to APOEL, while the Spanish fullback came from PAOK.
