A significant development has taken place at APOEL, as the agreement between the club, the company, and Savvas Liasis to establish the new company has been finalized.
With the signatures finalized, the way is now clear for the licensing process to begin. The agreement will be sent to the Cyprus Football Association (CFA) and then to UEFA for final approval.

If all goes smoothly, the new company is expected to be established in March 2027, with management of the soccer division passing to Savvas Liasis’s investment firm “ECM Partners.”
More details are expected at the press conference hosted by Haris Fotiou on Monday (August 24, 3:00 p.m.) at “Archangelos,” where the next steps, the new organizational chart, and the financial data will be presented.
