APOEL is entering the final stretch of its preseason preparations ahead of the start of its official matches in the Cyprus League by Stoiximan. The “blue-and-yellows” have three more weeks of daily training sessions and an equal number of friendly matches ahead of them before they head to the “Arena” for the league opener against AEK.
Today at 8:00 p.m., Kifissia will serve as the first “test” for the Nicosia team at GSP Stadium, giving fans the chance to see the… still-developing team in action, following their first “introduction” at last Wednesday’s (August 5) open practice.

Nikos Papadopoulos once again has the opportunity to give playing time to several players and experiment with different tactical approaches.
