APOEL has announced the signing of Álvaro Carrillo!
The Nicosia-based club has formalized the deal with the 24-year-old Spanish center back, who came up through the Real Madrid youth academy and later played for Eibar and Huesca.

APOEL announces a contract with Spanish soccer player Álvaro Carrillo.
Carrillo, 24, plays as a center back and is a product of the Real Madrid academy, which he joined in 2015 at the age of 13.
He played for four seasons with Real Madrid Castilla, making a total of 72 appearances. He was also a member of the Real Madrid team that won the 2019–20 UEFA Youth League.
In January 2024, he made his official debut with Real Madrid’s first team, starting in the Copa del Rey match against Arandina.
He then played for Eibar before transferring to SD Huesca in the summer of 2025. During the 2025–26 season, he made 33 appearances, scoring 3 goals and recording 3 assists.
